Vilkul personally congratulated the winner and presented him with a certificate for a modern laptop. 1.12.2011 Visit of a professor from the Far Eastern Branch of the Russian Academy of Sciences From 16 to 20 January 2012, the Department of Ecology of NMU was visited by Honoured Ecologist of the Russian Federation, Doctor of Biological Sciences, Professor, Head of the Laboratory of the Institute of Mining of the Far Eastern Branch of the Russian Academy of Sciences, Lyudmila Timofeevna Krupskaya. She gave a series of open multimedia lectures on Environmental Management in the Zone of Mining Impact through Biological Reclamation for students, postgraduates and young scientists.
Viktor Mykolayovych LAPYTSYK was awarded the academic title of Associate Professor of the Department of Ecology. (Order of the Ministry of Education, Science, Youth and Sports of Ukraine dated 26.10.2012 No. 1348 ‘Issues of awarding the academic title of Professor and Associate Professor on the basis of decisions of the Certification Board of the Ministry of Education, Science, Youth and Sports of Ukraine dated 26.10.2012’). 22.11.2011 Congratulation! Associate professors of the Department of Ecology Pavlichenko A.V. and Borisovska O.O. became the winners of the city competition of projects ‘Youth of Dnipropetrovs'k to the native city’ and received a grant from the mayor I.I. Kulichenko for the implementation of the project ‘Substantiation of environmentally safe methods of recycling fallen leaves in the territory of the city of Dnipropetrovs'k’. 1.09.2011 CONGRATULATIONS! Associate Professor of the Department of Ecology PAVLYCHENKO Artem Volodymyrovych was awarded a scholarship of the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine for young scientists by the Resolution of the Presidium of the Committee for State Prizes of Ukraine in Science and Technology No. 5 of 07 November 2011.
