Valentina Нruntova has been an assistant at the Department of Ecology and Environmental Protection Technologies since 2003.

From 1994 to 1998, she studied at the Torez Mining College named after A.F. Zasyadko, majoring in Applied Ecology and received the qualification of Environmental Technician.

In 2003, she graduated from the National Mining University with a degree in Ecology and Environmental Protection and received the qualification of Ecologist with a research level of activity, teacher of a higher education institution.

From 2003 to 2006, she studied in graduate school in the specialty 21.06.01 - Environmental Safety.

She was awarded the gratitude of the rector, academician of the National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine G. Pivniak for outstanding achievements in training specialists for Ukraine and personal contribution to the development and strengthening of the university's authority (31.08.2010).

She teaches laboratory and practical classes in the following disciplines: “Soil Science”, “Waste Utilization Technologies and Recycling”, “Ecology of Urban Systems”, “Landscape Ecology and Nature Conservation”, “Fundamentals of Environmental Toxicology”, etc.

Areas of scientific activity:

- environmental assessment of technogenically loaded areas;

- biomonitoring of natural areas and objects.

Participates in the implementation of research works.
