🌿 Career guidance in action and environmental education for the next generation! 🌍✨

The Department of Ecology and Environmental Protection Technologies held a wonderful meeting with students of Dnipro Lyceum of Information Technologies 💚

We welcomed 90 lyceum students 👩‍🎓👨‍🎓 and conducted two interactive ecology classes for them 🔬🌱

During the meeting, the students learned more about:

🔹 current environmental challenges;

🔹 the importance of environmental monitoring;

🔹 the role of environmental specialists in solving pollution problems;

🔹 educational and career opportunities in environmental fields.

The practical part of the classes attracted special interest 🧪🔍 The students had the opportunity to see modern equipment used in the educational, scientific and field work of environmental specialists.

We demonstrated devices for assessing air quality, including a dust meter and gas analyzers for measuring CO, CO₂, NOx, formaldehyde and other pollutants 🌫📊 The students also saw a nitrate meter for checking vegetables, fruits, meat and fish 🥦🍎🥩, a salinity meter, a TDS meter and various indicator strips for rapid water analysis 💧, as well as a thermal imaging camera, a sound level meter and a lux meter 🌡🔊💡

Such demonstrations help students understand that ecology is not only theory, but also modern technologies, measurements, data analysis and real work with the environment in field and laboratory conditions 🌱🔬

These events are not just an introduction to the university, but real career guidance in action 🎓 They help young people better understand the opportunities of environmental education, choose their future professional path and realize the importance of environmental awareness in today’s world 🌎
