Tetyana Soroka, a master's student at the Department of Ecology and Environmental Protection Technologies at Dnipro Polytechnic National Technical University, majoring in Ecology (101), took part in the Erasmus+ International Academic Mobility Program at the University of Koblenz-Landau (Landau, Germany).
During her master's studies, the student also has the opportunity to study at a German university at the same time, receiving a scholarship. During the winter semester (October 1 to February 29), Tetiana Soroka studied ecology, including such disciplines as Community Ecology, Conservation Biology, Energy and Sustainability, Ecoregions and Land Use, Anthropogenic Ecosystems, as well as German language courses. University students can independently choose a list of academic disciplines, create an individual study plan, and attend courses in German, English, French, Spanish, and other languages. They can also use lecture materials from teachers, which are available on the OLAT website.
The International Office of the University of Koblenz-Landau encourages students to participate in active and interesting student leisure activities, including workshops, brunches, international breakfasts, dance parties, and more. The academic period is also filled with various interesting excursions and trips: Karlsruhe (Germany), Heidelberg (Germany), Strasbourg (France), Trifels Castle (Germany), and more.
Young people are actively involved in sports activities, including various types of dancing, volleyball, fitness, shaping, etc. A rich and luxurious library invites visitors to explore its scientific and aesthetic knowledge.
