Нruntova Valentina Yurievna - Assistant of the Department of Ecology since 2003.

From 1994 to 1998 she studied at the Torez Mining College named after I. A.F. Zasyadko with a degree in Applied Ecology and qualified as an Environmental Technician.

In 2003 she graduated from the National Mining University, received a complete higher education in the specialty «Ecology and environmental protection» and the qualification «Ecologist with a research level of activity, teacher of a higher educational institution».

From 2003 to 2006 she studied at the postgraduate course in the specialty 06.21.01 - Environmental safety.

Acknowledged with the gratitude of the rector, academician of the National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine Pivnyak G.G. for outstanding services in training specialists for Ukraine and personal contribution to the development and strengthening of the university's authority (31.08.2010).

Teaches laboratory and practical classes in the following disciplines: «Soil Science», «Waste Utilization Technologies and Recycling», «Biogeochemistry», «Ecology of Urban Systems», «Landscape Ecology and Nature Reserve», etc.

Directions of scientific activity:

- assessment of the ecological state of the environment of technogenically loaded territories;

- biomonitoring of natural areas and objects subject to special protection.

Takes part in the implementation of research work.

Has 60 scientific papers, of which 8 are in professional publications.

Responsibilities at the department:

- Scientific secretary of the department;

- Secretary of the section «Environmental problems of the region» of the All-Ukrainian scientific and technical conference of students, graduate students and young scientists «Scientific Spring» and the All-Ukrainian scientific and technical conference of students, graduate students and young scientists «Youth: Science and Innovation».
