Dnipro University of Technology — Compliance with the Time

VALERII SHUTOV

Graduated from the Dnipropetrovsk Mining Institute in 1982, majoring in "Electrification and automation of mining operations".

From December 1984 to 1990, he worked as a senior SRC engineer at the department of automation of production processes. From 1991 to 2000, worked at PNDL-1 as a researcher.

In recent years, since 2001, he has been engaged in research work at the department of technological engineering of materials processing. Was the responsible executor for many state-budget and state-contractual research topics. The topics covered in recent years were as follows:

No. 0205134 "Development of the technology of additional enrichment of waste products of beneficiation production by gravity methods for obtaining quartz sands of various nomenclature"

No. 0205135 "Technological rationale for the use of drum screens at the branch of "Pavlohrad CPP"

No. 0205137-21 "Laboratory study of samples of carbon-containing sludges"

No. 0205138-21 "Processing of two slag samples and determination of technical conditions for their further use"

No. 072311-21 "Development of the instructions "On accounting for decline (losses) of finely fractionated manganese concentrate with reduced phosphorus content" and instructions "On accounting for decline (losses) on ore enriched with reduced phosphorus content during intra-shop movements and long-term storage in external warehouses"

As part of the reorganization of the educational process in the specialty 184 Mining, from September 2022 was transferred to the position of senior laboratory technician of the Department of Ecology and Environmental Protection Technologies.

Scientific interests: high-gradient magnetic separation of materials, enrichment of non-mineral raw materials - quartz sands, garnet and pegmatite raw materials, kaolins; processing and enrichment of man-made raw materials - metallurgical slags, sludges of beneficiation industries; development of enrichment equipment designs.
