Lyudmila Pisotska – Professor, Doctor of Medical Sciences
In 1980, she graduated from the Dnipropetrovsk Medical Institute with a degree in Medicine. In 1981, she worked as a haematologist specialising in blood diseases. From 1984 to 1986, she studied at the Clinical Residency Programme at the Research Institute of Haematology and Transfusiology in Kyiv. In 1990, she defended her candidate's dissertation, and in 2000, her doctoral dissertation on leukaemia. She was an associate professor in the Department of Hospital Therapy at the Dnipropetrovsk State Medical Academy (now the Department of Internal Medicine at Dnipro State Medical University).
She worked part-time at the Department of Ecology of the National Mining University for more than 10 years.
She has published up to 500 scientific papers, including 2 monographs, inventions and patents. For more than 25 years, she has been studying the method of Kirlianography and its application in medicine and environmental research. She has more than 300 scientific works on this topic, including 34 Ukrainian patents, one of which was developed in collaboration with the Bulgarian Academy of Sciences, 5 methodological recommendations, 2 monographs, and the methodological guide ‘Human Ecology.’
As a professor in the department, he teaches the following subjects: ‘Cytology with the basics of histology’, ‘Genetics with the basics of selection’, ‘Medical biology’, ‘Physiology and biochemistry of plants’.
