Valerii Malichenko In 2025, he graduated from Dnipro University of Technology and obtained a Master's degree in Environmental Protection Technologies. In 2025, he worked as a Chemical Safety and Chemical Product Management Consultant at INTERPIPE UKRAINE, a metallurgical company. From 2025 to 2026, he worked as an Environmental Engineer at CERN Consulting Company, where he was involved in the development and support of environmental documentation. His current research interests include phytoremediation of degraded and disturbed lands using composite bio-briquettes produced from coffee waste; investigation of the effectiveness of coffee waste in improving soil properties and stimulating the growth of phytoremediation plants; and technologies for land reclamation and ecological restoration. In October 2026, he enrolled in the PhD program at Dnipro University of Technology, majoring in Environmental Protection Technologies. The topic of his dissertation research is: «Development of a Phytoremediation Technology for Degraded Soils Using Composite Bio-Briquettes Based on Spent Coffee Grounds».
