🧪 Ecology is not only about theory — it is also about practice!

Today, our students gathered offline to work together in the laboratory as part of the course “Methods for Measuring Environmental Parameters” 🌿

During the class, we conducted two laboratory experiments:

💨 assessing ambient air quality;

💧 assessing water quality.

The practical part devoted to water analysis was especially interesting. Water samples for the analysis were brought by our student Illia Pavliukov, who is interested in studying groundwater. He plans to develop this topic further in his future research, so today’s laboratory class gave him an opportunity to combine his studies with his own scientific interests.

Such offline classes are an opportunity not only to learn about instruments and methods, but also to conduct measurements independently, work with real samples, discuss the results, and learn to work together.

We were very happy to see our students in person today and always look forward to new meetings, working together, and exciting research! 💚🌿

The air we breathe and the water we use every day are essential to our lives. The ability to assess their quality is one of the key practical competencies of a future environmental specialist. 🌍💚
