Educational Programmes: How Do They Work and What Is the Students’ Role?

Today, the Department of Ecology and Environmental Protection Technologies held a meeting of students and academic staff with the coordinators of our educational programmes. 🎓🌿

We discussed in simple terms what an educational programme is, what the programme coordinator is responsible for, how programmes are monitored and reviewed, who their stakeholders are, and what role the National

Agency for Higher Education Quality Assurance (NAQA) plays in ensuring the quality of higher education in Ukraine.

Special attention was given to student participation in reviewing and improving educational programmes and their opportunity to have a real influence on the quality of their education. We also discussed how students can become NAQA experts and participate in the accreditation of educational programmes at other universities.

Meetings like this remind us that quality education is a shared responsibility — and educational programmes become stronger when both students and academic staff actively contribute to their development. 💚
