🇬🇧 August Academic Meeting: Reflecting on Achievements and Starting a New Academic Year

Traditionally, on the eve of the new academic year, Dnipro University of Technology held its August Academic Meeting, bringing together the university’s academic staff to review the results of the past year and define priorities for the new academic period.

The university community heard the report by Rector Oleksandr Aziukovskyi, “Results of the University’s Activities in the 2025/2026 Academic Year and Priority Tasks for the 2026/2027 Academic Year.”

🌱 We were especially pleased to see Associate Professor of our Department Pavlo Lomazov among the speakers. He presented the results of the Department’s and University’s work with school students within the Green-ED project. His emotional and inspiring presentation on engaging young people in environmental education was warmly received by the audience.

🏆 The August Academic Meeting concluded with the traditional ceremony honouring university staff for their professional achievements.

We are delighted and proud to congratulate Head of the Department Olena Borysovska and Professor Oleksandr Kovrov, who were awarded the “Miner’s Glory” Badge, 2nd Class!

These distinctions recognise many years of dedicated professional and scientific work, commitment to the University, and significant contributions to education and research.
