The Department of Ecology and Environmental Protection Technologies активно engages in public environmental activities together with our students 🌱

On March 26, 2026, the opening of GreenRoots Hub took place in the city of Dnipro — a new platform aimed at supporting environmental initiatives, civil society organizations, and eco-activists in the frontline regions of Ukraine 🇺🇦

This hub is designed as a space for:

• development of community-based environmental initiatives

• restoration of green areas, water resources, and soils

• exchange of experience between local initiatives

• hosting thematic meetings, mentoring, and training activities

• strengthening skills in project management and environmental advocacy

Our students and faculty actively participated in the opening, discussions, and professional dialogue, once again confirming that the department not only provides theoretical knowledge but is also an active part of the real environmental movement in Ukraine.
