Biology students had an incredible opportunity to meet with our colleague Romain Pryymak Lorello from the University of Oxford, who gladly shared his story of admission to Oxford, talked about the complex selection process, interview preparation, studying in laboratories in London and Cambridge, as well as his scientific achievements and accomplishments. 🎓✨

Romain is a first-year student majoring in Biology, successfully mastering the intricacies of biological disciplines, engaged in research work, and collaborating with like-minded colleagues on a project that will be presented at the international iGEM competition. He is passionate about agricultural technologies and biotechnology. 🌱🧪

During the Q&A session, students had the opportunity to ask questions, found common ground in their shared interest in mycology, and discussed the importance of practical work. 🍄🔬

Romain openly shared his own experience and advised students to communicate more, read scientific articles for self-development, discover even more opportunities, set priorities in their studies, and integrate their scientific passions into potential future projects. 💡📚
