Professor of our department, Dr. Oleksandr Kovrov, has successfully completed a professional research internship at the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign (Illinois, USA) 🇺🇸🌎 — one of the world’s leading research universities.

🔬 The internship took place at the Department of Agricultural and Biological Engineering within the international grant program

BridgeUSA: Ukraine Program for Resilience and Reconstruction (UPRR), funded by the Public Diplomacy Section of the U.S. Embassy in Kyiv with additional support from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign.
📘 Internship topic:

“Agricultural and Environmental Technologies”, highly relevant for restoring degraded and war-affected lands of Ukraine 🇺🇦🌱.

📅 Duration: October 15 – November 11, 2025

⏱ Workload: 180 hours of laboratory research
