Our contribution to the city’s environmental initiatives was officially acknowledged with a Certificate of Appreciation presented within the framework of the “Eco-Awareness of Dnipro” project. The Department of Ecology and Environmental Protection Technologies at Dnipro University of Technology had the honour to take part in the citywide project “Eco-Awareness of Dnipro 2025”, which this year united a wide range of environmental, educational, and charitable initiatives. The project included an eco-hackathon, youth educational activities, waste-paper collection campaigns in support of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, as well as other events aimed at fostering environmental awareness within the community. We are proud that our university community contributed to this process and supported the formation of sustainable thinking among young people. 🏅 Certificates of Appreciation were awarded to: • Professor Artem Pavlichenko, Vice-Rector - for his ambassadorial role and active support of the city’s environmental initiatives; • Pavlo Lomazov, PhD, Assistant Lecturer - for organising student activities and supporting city eco-projects. 🌿 We are especially proud of our students, who took part in various programme activities: • Valerii Malichenko • Anastasiia Balaniuk • Sofiia Mezentseva • Volodymyr Tuboltsev • Kyrylo Skitenko • Illia Pavliukov Their involvement demonstrates that the environmental awareness of Dnipro’s youth remains high, and that student initiatives continue to drive positive ecological change. 💚 We sincerely thank the Department of Environmental Policy of the Dnipro City Council and the Academy of Social Research NGO for their joint efforts in strengthening environmental culture in our city and for the opportunity to contribute to such meaningful initiatives. 📎 More details: Dnipro City Council Press Centre - 1. https://dniprorada.gov.ua/uk/articles/item/77724/ekologichna-svidomist-na-sluzhbi-zsu-u-dnipri-zibra...
