🌍 Ecology Begins with Measurements 🌱
Dnipro University of Technology is not only a university of traditions but also a center of modern ecological practices. Last week, a mobile air monitoring station “Eol-1” 🚐💨 from the Environmental Monitoring Center was operating on our campus.

For several hours, in the very heart of the University, measurements of atmospheric air quality were carried out for more than 10 indicators: from fine particulate matter PM₁₀ and PM₂.₅ to ozone, nitrogen oxides, and sulfur compounds. These are data that directly affect our lives, health, and future.

👩‍🎓👨‍🎓 Our students and lecturers took part in the practice, having the opportunity to communicate with experts, explore modern equipment, and see how data collection and transmission take place in real time. This strengthened the practical training of students in disciplines covering environmental monitoring, methods of measuring environmental parameters, sustainable development strategies, and more.

For the Department of Ecology and Environmental Protection Technologies, such cooperation is extremely important. It is not only science in action but also a unique chance to show young people how theoretical knowledge turns into tangible results capable of improving environmental quality.
