🌿 Green ED: The Second Wave Has Come to an End — Ahead Lies the Third Wave of Green Education 💚 Today we held the final Green ED school session of this academic year. Summer holidays are ahead, and for our team this means it is time to prepare for the third wave of Green Education 🌱 Over these months, Green ED became much more than a series of environmental activities. It turned into a space where school students could discover modern science, ecology, technology, and university life in an engaging and practical way. Together we: 🔬 explored air and water quality monitoring; 🧪 measured nitrate levels in food products; 🌍 discussed environmental challenges of modern cities and possible solutions; 🌡 learned about thermal engineering processes and environmental aspects of energy systems; 🛰 discovered modern environmental monitoring technologies and ecological innovations. We are especially happy that the project united several departments of Dnipro University of Technology and demonstrated how diverse and exciting environmental education can be. We sincerely thank: 💧 the Department of Hydrogeology and Engineering Geology — for providing access to new laboratories and creating safe, modern conditions for practical research; 🔥 the Department of Thermal Engineering — for interactive quests and engaging demonstrations; ⚗ the Department of Chemistry — for showing how chemical processes are deeply connected with ecology and everyday life. The most valuable part for us was seeing the students’ emotions, curiosity, and enthusiasm. Many of them became interested in future studies, asked questions about university admission, and discovered that science can be interactive, practical, and inspiring 💚 Green ED is not only about environmental education. It is also about public outreach, career guidance, civic engagement, and shaping a new generation that truly cares about the future of the environment. Thank you to everyone who joined us this year 🌿 See you in the third wave of Green ED ✨
