On April 29, 2025, lecturers of the Department of Ecology Olena Borysovska and Yuliia Voronkova took part in the international online seminar "Waste Management: Community Challenges, Local Solutions, and European Experience", organized by the Clean Air for Ukraine program in cooperation with the Czech NGO Arnika.

🔎 Key topics included:

 ▪️ the Czech Republic's experience in waste management (Miroslava Jopkova, Arnika);

▪️ regional and municipal policy development in Dnipropetrovsk oblast (S. Berezan, I. Kozlova, Y. Naumenko);

▪️ local tools for implementing efficient waste management models.

🌱 Participation in such events allows our faculty to stay engaged with current environmental challenges, integrate relevant practices into education, and support interregional and international dialogue on sustainable development.
