On April 18, 2025, representatives of the Department of Ecology and Environmental Protection Technologies — Olena Borysovska, Yurii Buchavyi, and Pavlo Lomazov — took part in the online seminar "Regional Monitoring Centers: Challenges and Opportunities", organized by the Czech NGO Arnika.

🔍 The seminar addressed critical topics such as: 
▪️ the role of regional monitoring centers in environmental protection during wartime,
▪️ how these centers can inform communities and the public,
▪️ legal aspects of their functioning,
▪️ practical experiences from different Ukrainian regions.

💬 Building an effective and modern environmental monitoring system in Ukraine is more urgent than ever. It is a matter of protecting not only nature but also the health and safety of citizens.

Participation in such events enables our faculty to stay updated on real-world environmental challenges — and to bring this knowledge directly into the classroom, enhancing the quality of ecological education 💚
