From 20 to 24 September 2021, Associate Professor of the Department of Ecology and Environmental Protection Technologies Olena Matukhno underwent training under the programme for specialists in the field of monitoring, reporting and verification of greenhouse gases in accordance with the requirements of the Law of Ukraine ‘On the Principles of Monitoring, Reporting and Verification of Greenhouse Gas Emissions’, which was held at the Ministry of Environmental Protection and Natural Resources of Ukraine.

The knowledge and skills acquired will be applied in the educational process in the development of elective disciplines ‘Monitoring, Reporting, Verification of Greenhouse Gases,’ ‘Green Industry,’ and in teaching the disciplines ‘Strategic Environmental Assessment,’ ‘Environmental Impact Assessment,’ and ‘Methods for Measuring Environmental Parameters.’
