On 27 November 2020, Section 10 of the Eighth All-Ukrainian Scientific and Technical Conference of Students, ‘Environmental Problems of the Region,’ was held at the Department of Ecology and Environmental Protection Technologies of the National Technical University ‘Dnipro Polytechnic’. ‘Environmental Problems of the Region’ of the EIGHTH ALL-UKRAINIAN SCIENTIFIC AND TECHNICAL CONFERENCE OF STUDENTS, POSTGRADUATES AND YOUNG SCIENTISTS ‘YOUTH: SCIENCE AND INNOVATION’ was held at the Department of Ecology and Environmental Protection Technologies of the National Technical University ‘Dnipro Polytechnic’.

This year, the conference was held online. More than 80 reports from different regions of our country were submitted for participation in the conference. More than 40 participants – students of the Dnipro branch of the Small Academy of Sciences, students of higher education institutions, postgraduate students and young scientists – made presentations at the section meeting. The reports concerned the results of research into the ecological state of the environment in areas with different levels of pollution, as well as the development of effective environmental protection solutions.
