On 8 July 2021, Svitlana Barannik, a student of the Department of Ecology and Environmental Protection Technologies, took part in the press conference ‘ECO Education in Dnipro 2021. Results. Global ECO Trends.’ The event was held as part of the ‘ECO Education in Dnipro 2021’ project.

Svitlana Barannik gave a presentation on the topic: International project to inform the public about the World Air Quality Index (WAQI).

The ECOeducation Dnipro 2021 project is part of the ECOawareness Dnipro educational programme and is being implemented with the support of the Dnipro City Council and the City Council's Department of Environmental Policy as part of the municipal programme for the development of local self-government and coverage of the activities of the Dnipro City Council for 2021–2025. The aim of the project is to develop and implement informational and educational environmental campaigns among young people and students.

This event was held in the White Hall of the Dnipro City Council.

The event was attended by speakers Stanislav Bandura, Irina Kozlova, Elena Rozhko, and Yaroslav Krysko. Students from various universities in our city were also present.
