Traditionally, the Department of Ecology and Environmental Protection Technologies of the Dnipro Polytechnic National Technical University held an autumn introductory session for students of the Ecology and Agricultural Sciences Department, Ecology and Environmental Protection and Rational Nature Management Sections of the Dnipropetrovsk branch of the Junior Academy of Sciences of Ukraine.

The following speakers introduced the students of the Dnipropetrovsk branch of the Small Academy of Sciences of Ukraine to the specifics of conducting ecological research, developing nature conservation technologies, and preparing scientific research papers:

- Vadym Volodymyrovych Manyuk, Candidate of Biological Sciences, Associate Professor of the Department of Geography at Oles Honchar Dnipro National University;

- Yuriy Volodymyrovych Buchavyi, Candidate of Biological Sciences, Assistant Professor of the Department of Ecology and Environmental Protection Technology at Dnipro Polytechnic National Technical University;

- Artem Pavlichenko, Doctor of Technical Sciences, Professor, Head of the Department of Ecology and Environmental Protection Technology at Dnipro Polytechnic National Technical University.
