Interview with Artem Pavlichenko, Head of the Department of Ecology and Environmental Protection Technology, for the Visti Prydniprovya newspaper regarding the environmental hazards of polyethylene waste.

 On 28 January this year, a bill was registered in the Verkhovna Rada (Ukrainian Parliament) entitled ‘On reducing the amount of certain types of polyethylene waste in civil circulation’. Artem Pavlichenko, head of the Department of Ecology and Environmental Protection Technology at Dnipro Polytechnic University and an expert in the field, shared his thoughts with Visti Prydniprovya on the dangers of polyethylene and whether the adoption of the bill could improve the environmental situation in Ukraine.
