From 25 May to 1 June 2019, a group of first-year geology, ecology and mechanical engineering students took part in a geological and ecological expedition at the Azov geological training ground of the Dnipro Polytechnic University.
Under the guidance of Y.T. Khomenko, protector of educational work, and V.V. Fedotov, head of the laboratory of the Department of Ecology and Environmental Protection, students completed seven expedition routes, studying geo-ecological objects and processes, ecological systems of the Azov Sea coast, the work of granite quarries, etc.
During the expedition, students gained new knowledge and skills, and most importantly, a boost of health and inspiration for further study.
