On 19 September, at the Department of Ecology and Environmental Protection Technologies, Oleksii Volodymyrovych Angurets, deputy of the Dnipropetrovsk Regional Council, deputy director for ecology at the Centre for Environmental Monitoring of the Dnipropetrovsk Regional Council, director of the Green World / Friends of the Earth Ukraine, gave a lecture to first-year students majoring in Ecology, Environmental Protection Technologies, and Biology as part of the Introduction to the Speciality course.

The lecture focused on the role of environmental protection specialists in solving important environmental problems at the local, regional and international levels. He drew the students' attention to opportunities to participate in environmental events held in our region, as well as prospects for future employment.

Oleksii Volodymyrovych emphasised that only professional ecologists are capable of ensuring the preservation and restoration of our country's natural resources for future generations!
