On 15 April 2018, as part of the visit of the Deputy Dean of the Faculty of Mining, Geology and Petroleum Engineering of the University of Zagreb (Croatia), Doctor of Technical Sciences, Professor Sibila Borojevic-Soshtairich to NTU Dnipro University of Technology, a working meeting was held with scientists from the Department of Ecology and Environmental Protection Technologies. During the visit, she toured the lecture halls and laboratories and learned about the participation of the department's staff and students in academic mobility programmes.

During the visit, Roman Dychkovsky, head of the National Contact Point for the EU Horizon 2020 programme: ‘Safe, Clean and Efficient Energy’, discussed prospects for further educational, scientific and international cooperation.
