On 13 April 2018, the Department of Ecology and Environmental Protection Technologies was visited by students from the Dnipro Regional Medical Lyceum ‘Dnipro’ at the initiative of the Dean of the Faculty of Finance and Economics, O.M. Grybinenko, and biology teacher N.A. Klyus.

During the visit, the lyceum students listened to reports at section No. 10, ‘Environmental Problems of the Region,’ as part of the Ninth All-Ukrainian Scientific and Technical Conference of Students, Postgraduates, and Young Scientists, ‘Scientific Spring,’ which dealt with the impact of environmental factors and pollutants on the health of the population.

The head of the department, Pavlichenko A.V., informed the students about the opportunities to study three specialities offered by the department. These are 091 ‘Biology’, 101 “Ecology” and 183 ‘Environmental Protection Technologies’. He noted that biology is a core subject for admission to these specialisations!

The lyceum students had the opportunity to visit the department's laboratories and listen to a lecture on the subject given by Associate Professor I.I. Klimkina, Ph.D. in Biology.
