Artem Pavlichenko, Head of the Department of Ecology and Environmental Protection Technologies, took part in the International Environmental Forum “Kryvyi Rih GREEN Strategy”, which was held on November 11-12 in Kryvyi Rih.

Participants of the forum included members of the Ukrainian Parliament, representatives of the State Environmental Inspectorate, mayors, scientists, and civil society activists from two dozen Ukrainian cities - Dnipro, Zaporizhzhia, Kamianske, Lviv, Chernivtsi, Kyiv, Pokrovsk, Kharkiv, and others. More than 130 participants took part in panel discussions, breakout sessions, and a business breakfast discussion in the World Cafe format.

The large-scale event was organized by the Kryvyi Rih Environmental Council with the support of Konstantin Usov, Member of Parliament of Ukraine, and his team. The Forum featured 37 speakers who drew attention to the need for changes in Ukraine's environmental legislation to implement EU directives on the introduction of European environmental norms and standards in Ukraine.
