On October 10, at the Department of Ecology and Environmental Protection Technologies, Hermann Halmeyer, Professor at the Institute of Life Sciences, Freiberg Mining Academy, gave a lecture to students majoring in Ecology and Environmental Protection Technologies.
The series of lectures on the application of biotechnology in the environmental protection activities of mining companies is part of the four-year educational project Biotechnology in Mining - Integration of New Technologies into Educational Practice, which has been implemented at the National Mining University in cooperation with the Technical University of Freiberg Mining Academy (TU FGA, Germany) since 2015. The project is supported by the German Academic Exchange Service (DAAD) of Germany within the framework of the program “Professionally Linked Partnerships with Universities in Developing Countries”.
