A publication about the developments of our employees in the newspaper "Dnepr Evening"

Recently, a group of scientists from all over Ukraine received the State Prize of Ukraine for the unique project "Development and Implementation of Technologies for Technogenic and Environmental Safety of Coal Mining Regions in the Liquidation of Ukrainian Mining Enterprises". The project is led by scientists from the National Mining University: Professor Volodymyr Buzylo, Director of the Mining Institute of the National Mining University, and Artem Pavlichenko, Acting Head of the Department of Ecology and Environmental Protection Technologies of the National Mining University.

According to the scientists, the implementation of this unique project will bring the Ukrainian coal industry in line with European standards. The use of new technologies will reduce the amount of waste that is usually disposed of on the surface. This will reduce pollution in coal mining regions. The surrounding areas will have cleaner air, fewer greenhouse gas emissions, and coal mine methane will be utilized.
