Participation of NMU delegation in the 57th Student Scientific Conference of the S. Staszyc University of Mining and Metallurgy in Krakow.

From 5 to 10 December 2016, the student delegation of NMU headed by Olena Borysovska, Associate Professor of the Department of Ecology, took part in the 57th Student Scientific Conference of the S. Staszyc Academy of Mining and Metallurgy in Krakow.

The students of the National Mining University were guests at the Miners' Day (Barbórka) and saw with their own eyes the Polish celebrations of honoring the miner's profession. An equally important event of this business trip was the 57th student scientific conference. The reports of the NMU students in English and Polish were highly appreciated by other conference participants and the high-ranking jury. They noted the relevance of the topics, the logical presentation of the material, and the overall level of preparation of the speakers.
