On April 7, 2016, the Department of Ecology hosted the section “Ecological problems of the region” of the VII All-Ukrainian Scientific and Technical Conference of Students, Postgraduates and Young Scientists “Scientific Spring - 2016”. The conference received 56 reports from students, young scientists and employees of various Ukrainian higher education institutions. The section's meeting featured 24 presentations highlighting the latest developments of young people to improve the environment in the areas where enterprises in various sectors of the economy operate. For the fifth year in a row, students of higher education institutions of the first and second accreditation levels have been participating in the conference. As a result of the conference, “Diplomas” were awarded for the best reports, as well as “Acknowledgments” to supervisors for their active work in engaging students in research.
