Mironova I.G., Associate Professor of the PRR Department Kononenko M.N., Associate Professor A.V. Pavlichenko. Pavlichenko A.V. published the monograph ‘Technology of ecological safety increase at iron ore mining by underground method’.
The monograph is devoted to the issues of improving environmental safety in iron ore mining by underground mining for specific mining and geological conditions of Yuzhno-Belozerskoye deposit. The results of physico-chemical analysis and biological assessment of atmospheric air condition at the industrial site of iron ore mine and adjacent territories are given.
The technology of chamber ore stockpile stripping with the help of emulsion explosives is proposed, which will allow to reduce the cost of extraction of 1 tonne of ore and to reduce the volume of environmentally hazardous substances emitted into the atmosphere from mine shafts during drilling and blasting operations.
The monograph is intended for a wide range of engineering and technical workers of the mining industry, research and design organisations. It can be used in the educational process of higher educational and secondary vocational institutions when teaching mining and environmental disciplines. |
