On 4 December, the Department of Ecology hosted the section ‘Environmental Problems of the Region’ of the First All-Ukrainian Scientific and Technical Conference of Students, Postgraduates and Young Scientists ‘Youth: Science and Innovations’. The conference featured 15 presentations by students, postgraduates and young scientists aimed at solving urgent environmental problems in the Dnipro region.

The conference was attended by students, postgraduates and young scientists from the Department of Ecology of the National University of Dnipro, the Department of Ecology and Environmental Protection of the Dnipro State Technical University, the Department of Hydromelioration Systems Operation and Construction Technology of the Dnipro State Agrarian University, the Department of Ecology and Environmental Protection of the Prydniprovska State Academy of Civil Engineering and Architecture, as well as representatives of the Radioecological Monitoring Centre LLC.
