On 7 November 2013, the Regional Library for Youth named after Svetlov with the participation of the library staff, teachers and students of the Dnipro College of Transport Infrastructure held a public seminar on ‘Biospheric Ethics - the basis of environmental awareness’. The lecture was delivered by V. V. Fedotov, Assistant Professor of the Department of Ecology of the NMU. In a lively discussion with the youth, the issues of actualisation of ecological culture in the modern world, positive and negative examples of development of human consciousness in contact with the virtual world, principles of environmental education in the family and school were discussed.
