On 9 October 2013, the staff of the M. Svetlov Children's Regional Library organised an educational event dedicated to the International Day for the Reduction of Natural Disaster Risks at the secondary school No. 2. During the event, employees of the Department of Ecology - assistants Buchavyi Yurii and Fedotov Viktor delivered a presentation to high school students on ‘Current environmental problems of the city of Dnipro and ways to solve them’. In addition, during the event, students and their parents had the opportunity to learn about the areas of study and the conditions of admission to the National Mining University.
