On 17 December 2013, the 8th grade students of the specialised school No. 67 of environmental and economic profile in Dnipro visited NMU to take part in a seminar dedicated to the outstanding scientist-chemist, teacher, rector of NMU (1924-1926) Lev Volodymyrovych Pisarzhevsky. The seminar was organised by L.A. Fedotova, a chemistry teacher at school No. 67. The Department of Ecology of the NMU hosted a presentation and discussion of materials about the life and scientific activities of L.V. Pisarzhevsky. The students also visited the Pisarzhevsky classroom at the Department of Chemistry and the National Museum of History of NMU. Associate professors S.M. Lysitska, A.V. Pavlichenko, I.S. Nikitenko, as well as assistants of the Department of Ecology V.V. Fedotov and Y.V. Buchavyi took an active part in the event.
