From 16 to 20 January 2012, the Department of Ecology of NMU was visited by Honoured Ecologist of the Russian Federation, Doctor of Biological Sciences, Professor, Head of the Laboratory of the Institute of Mining of the Far Eastern Branch of the Russian Academy of Sciences, Lyudmila Timofeevna Krupskaya. She gave a series of open multimedia lectures on Environmental Management in the Zone of Mining Impact through Biological Reclamation for students, postgraduates and young scientists.
