Mining electromechanical engineer for automation, doctor of technical sciences, professor.

Graduated from the Kharkiv Institute of Mining Mechanical Engineering, Automation and Computer Engineering (now the University of Radio Electronics) with a degree in electromechanical mining engineer for automation.

Candidate of Technical Sciences, specialty 05.13.07 - Automation of technological processes and production, since 1973; thesis topic: "Research of magnetic separators as objects of automatic control and development of a device for automatic control of the content of magnetite in the solid phase of the pulp"

Doctor of Technical Sciences, specialty 05.15.08 - Mineral processing, since 1992; dissertation topic: "Fundamentals of forecasting the initial indicators of the separation of flocculating materials during wet magnetic separation"

In 1967-68, worked in the Donetsk debugging department at the lifting machine division. Since 1968 till now, is working at the Dnipro University of Technology. SRC engineer, junior researcher (1970) of the department of automation of production processes, candidate of technical sciences (1973), assistant (1973), associate professor of the department of mathematical methods of operations research (1976), doctor of technical sciences (1992), professor of the department of mineral processing (1996-2022), professor of the department of ecology and technologies of environmental protection (2022-till now).

While working at the Department of Mathematical Methods of Operations Research, he taught the following subjects: "Theory of Probability and Mathematical Statistics", "Mathematical Problems of Electric Power Engineering", "Theoretical Foundations of Cybernetics", "Fundamentals of Scientific Research", "Large Control Systems", "Special Chapters of Mathematics".

Completed advanced training in the form of Internship at the Institute of Technical Mechanics of the National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine and the State Space Agency of Ukraine (ITM of the National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine and DKAU) from June 22, 2020 to July 31, 2020 in the amount of 180 hours / 6 credits. The acquired knowledge and skills were implemented in the educational process of the department of technological engineering of materials processing of the Dnipro University of Technology.

Field of scientific interests, current research: synthesis of mineral enrichment technologies; modeling of stage schemes for processing raw materials and materials; automation of technological processes and productions; development of theoretical foundations of separation processes; measurement of quality indicators of iron ores transported in the form of pulp flows; theoretical basis of separation of finely divided flocculating particles; theoretical estimates of the parameters of the discovery of valuable minerals that are interspersed; scientific foundations of the development of enrichment technologies based on the necessary technological characteristics of enrichment devices with specified properties; substantiation of the minimum mass of samples when testing raw materials.

Author of 180 scientific works, incl. 15 inventions. Current research – control systems of technological processes with a large inertia.

Has the "Higher Education Excellence" award (2004) and the "For Devotion to the University" medal (2014).

As part of the reorganization of the educational process in the specialty 184 Mining, from September 2022 was transferred to the position of professor of the Department of Ecology and Environmental Protection Technologies.

Teaches disciplines: "Theoretical foundations of separation processes"; "Basics and terminology in the field of mining"; "Testing and control of mineral enrichment processes"; "Technological calculations in mineral enrichment"; "Synthesis of mineral enrichment technologies"; "Technological support of standardization of quality indicators"; "Promising technologies of mineral enrichment"; "Technological properties of minerals", "Technological management in mineral beneficiation based on information technologies", "Theoretical foundations of the synthesis of mineral beneficiation technologies", "Technological problems of material processing".
